The Father of Angklung Daeng Sutigna first created the diatonic angklung in 1938. Akan Diusulkan ke UNESCO Bersama Tembang Cianjuran dan Debus

BANDUNG, (PR).- Sebagian besar kekayaan seni budaya Jawa Barat kurang terpelihara. Sebagian di antaranya mendekati kepunahan, bahkan sudah punah karena ditinggalkan dan tidak dipelihara ahli warisnya.

Untuk membantu upaya pelestariannya, Duta Besar Republik Indonesia untuk UNESCO, Dr. Aman Wirakartakusumah, akan berupaya me¬masukkan sejumlah karya seni dan budaya Jawa Barat seperti tembang cianjuran, sebagai pusaka dunia. "Hingga tahun 2005, baru wayang dan keris yang masuk dalam pusaka dunia yang kini jumlahnya mencapai 90 buah," ujar Aman saat mengunjungi Padepokan Wayang Golek Giri Hardja 3 milik Asep Sunandar Sunarya, di Jelekong, Ciparay, Kab. Bandung, Senin (17/4).

Turut mendampingi Aman Wirakartakusumah, Sekda Jabar Ir. H. Setia Hidayat, Rektor Unpad, Prof. Dr. H.A. Himendra Wargahadibrata, Direktur Pascasarjana Unpad, Prof. Dr. Drs. H.E. Djadja Saefullah, M.A., Kadisbudpar Jabar, Drs. H.I. Budhyana, M.Si., Pemimpin Umum HU Pikiran Rakyat, H. Syafik Umar, Ketua DPD Golkar Jabar, Uu Rukmana serta sejumlah tokoh seniman dan budayawan Jawa Barat. Kunjungan Aman berkaitan dengan tugasnya di UNESCO untuk mengembangkan wayang di Indonesia, khususnya di Jawa Barat.

"Selain itu, kami juga terus mengupayakan agar lebih banyak lagi pusaka nusantara lain yang masuk sebagai pusaka dunia. Yang kami perjuangkan tahun ini, antara lain, angklung, tembang cianjuran, debus, karapan sapi, dan reog," ujar Aman.
Menurut dia, mulai 20 April 2006 akan diberlakukan Konvensi Pelestarian Pusaka Lisan dan Tak Benda. Saat ini, UNESCO telah mengakui sebanyak 90 pusaka lisan dan tak benda dari seluruh penjuru dunia.

Konvensi lain produk UNESCO adalah Perlindungan dan Promosi Keanekaragaman Ekspresi Budaya. "Konvensi ini menyatakan bahwa keanekaragaman budaya adalah warisan bersama umat manusia untuk dipertahankan berdasarkan etika, rasa hormat dan kemanusiaan," ujar Aman.

Tak terpelihara

Sekda Jabar, Ir. H. Setia Hidayat menegaskan, Jawa Barat memiliki kekayaan lebih dari 250 jenis seni budaya. Kekayaan tersebut selama ini diakui sebagai pusaka warisan leluhur, namun kondisi pada umumnya kurang terpelihara, mendekati kepunahan bahkan sudah punah karena ditinggalkan dan tidak dipelihara para ahli warisnya.

Berdasarkan konvensi UNESCO, beberapa di antaranya sudah dapat dimasukkan sebagai benda pusaka dunia yang harus dipertahankan. "Tapi kalau kita tidak memeliharanya, bagaimana akan diakui sebagai pusaka dunia, kalau seni tradisinya saja sudah punah," ujarnya.

Sementara Rektor Unpad, Prof. Dr. H.A. Himendra Wargahadibrata, mengatakan, sebagai lembaga pendidikan, Unpad mendukung sepenuhnya upaya menjaga kelestarian dan kelangsungan seni budaya, khususnya seni budaya yang dimiliki Jawa Barat. "Selain memberikan kebebasan kepada para mahasiswa, kami juga memberikan kemudahan dan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan dalam bidang seni budaya Jabar," ujar Himendra.

Ia pun mendukung upaya yang dilakukan Dubes RI untuk UNESCO agar seni budaya Jabar menjadi pusaka dunia. "Kalau tidak kita orang Jawa Barat sendiri yang mendukung melalui pelestarian dan pengembangan, lantas siapa lagi," ujar Himendra.

Kedatangan Dubes RI untuk UNESCO beserta rombongan disuguhi pergelaran seni beladiri pencak silat, tari jaipongan, dan suguhan wayang golek dengan dalang Asep Sunandar Sunarya. Selain itu, rombongan juga meninjau padepokan yang baru selesai 50%, serta proses pembuatan wayang golek. (A-87)***
