The Father of Angklung Daeng Sutigna first created the diatonic angklung in 1938. Until now, angklung still has to face many challenges of identity to be acknowledged as one of world’s standard music instruments.   • notasi angka; (diwakili oleh 1 titik per ketuk)


5. Bar, Garis bar, double bar

  • Time signature (4/4, 2/4, ¾ dst..)


6. Tanda Berhenti

  • notasi balok; (whole, half, dan quarter rest)

7. Tanda ulang

  • Tanda dua titik sebelum double bar

8. Tanda Dinamika

  • pp, p , mp , mf , f , ff (very soft-very loud)
  • Cressendo (meninggi/ gradually laouder)

9. Tempo (grade of speed)

  • largo, adagio, andante, moderato, allegro, vivace (very slow-very fast)
  • Ritardando (gradually slower)
  • Accelerato (gradually faster)


10. Artikulasi

  • Staccato ≈ cetok angklung
  • Aksen (accent) ≈ suara meninggi dengan tekanan
  • Sforzando ≈ sudden, strong accent
  • Tenuto ≈ hold for full value
  • Fermata ≈ hold longer than normal value


11. D.C, D.S., Coda, Fine

  • D.C. Da Capo; ulang dari awal
  • D.S. Dal Segno; ulang dari tanda
  • Coda; an added ending
  • Fine; the end
