<<< Welcome to Angklung Web Institute (AWI)! This website is a medium of information exchange about angklung knowledge and competence, especially diatonic angklung in orchestral composition. The Father of Angklung Daeng Sutigna first created the diatonic angklung in 1938. saya kebetulan sedang berada jauh dari Indonesia, senang sekali mendapatkan link website ini. Dijaman yang semua serba ada harganya, AWI menyediakan ilmu nya secara gratisan... salute to that!!!!

kebetulan di KBRI Portugal (yang masih muda sekali umurnya) ada set angklung yang memanggur. Berkat web ini, saya jadi terinspirasi untuk mengaktifkan kembali angklung2 tersebut bersama teman2 yang minim (10 orang saja).

Salam kenal juga dari AWI. Saya akan mencoba sharing salah satu tips untuk mengajarkan angklung pada usia dini, dengan belajar menggetarkan. Ibu kemudian membariskan anak sesuai dengan tangga nada, dan ibu dapat menunjuk salah satu anak untuk menggetarkannta. (dengan catatan, Ibu menghapal dulu nada sebuah lagu). Semoga bermanfaat! Hello, Angklung group Nusantara is in action again. Next concert will be comming Sunday at 16:00 in Dietzenbach, International Festival. We'll also play again at Frankfurter Bühne on Museumsuferfest 2009. Last weekend we played in Feldbahnmuseum (museum kereta api) in Frankfurt to celebrate the 100th birthday of a locomotive which has passed about 90 years in Pabrik Gula Gending near Probbolingo, East Java. The loco has been build in 1909 at O&K, Berlin, Germany, and it is back to Germany since 1997.
